Post by FearLESSAirAsia will get landing rights in China soon.
Already in China.
Malaysian low-cost carrier AirAsia has chosen Macau as its first
destination in China, with services from Thailand and Malaysia to
Macau starting in July.
AirAsia group chief executive officer Tony Fernandes said the carrier
is working with Shun Tak Holdings, the provider of ferry services
between the two cities, to get special deals on ferry trips between
Macau and Hong Kong.
"We recognize the tremendous potential in Macau as a tourist center,
and with the existing infrastructure and lower operation costs,
AirAsia's low fare provides a winning formula for the Bangkok-Macau
route," he told the press.
"We are excited to commence services to Macau and we are confident
that our low fares will boost tourism and bring a brand new travel
experience to the people of Macau and the neighboring region," he
added.
According to John Chan Wai-leong, executive director of Macau
airport's management company, CAM, AirAsia awarded them the business
because the firm adjusted to the requirements of budget carriers. It
scrapped the usual landing and parking fees in favour of a "long-term
contract based on a passenger volume commitment".
Mr. Fernandes said flights between Bangkok and Macau were scheduled to
begin July 5, with flights between Kuala Lumpur and Macau starting by
September or October this year.

Post by Anonymous NetterThe statement "let the buyer beware" is more true nowadays. You just
can't trust what you read anymore as there are always fine prints
usually hidden in some webpages.
Everyone is using the same tactic of advertising an unbelievable low
price, but when you dig further, you will find that only the first xx
buyers can get it, and you are never the first xx. Makes me wonder
whether it has all been pre-booked by their own staffs & their family
& friends.
Post by FearLESS99 sen outbound..I will not consider to buy from this kind of
company..
If they cannot fight with AirAsia, then better pack up instead of
telling half-truth promotion.
